National Police Certificate
If you have been instructed to obtain a National Police Certificate as part of your application to the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR), you are required to submit the Consent to Check and Release National Police Record Form (PDF, 1.5MB) to Victoria Police. When completing the form, you must choose the 'National name check’ option.
Australian Federal Police National Police Certificates will also be accepted by the VCGLR.
Victoria Police charges a fee to apply for a National Police Certificate. From 1 July every year, the fees under the Victoria Police (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2004, including the fee for a National Police Certificate, increase.
The current fee for national name check is $46.
