Liquor licence application fees
Fees are charged on applications for liquor licences, and a range of other activities relating to the licensing system, as provided by the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998. Application fees are payable when lodging the application with the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation.
On the 1 July each year, government fees and fines associated with non-compliance are increased automatically. The increases to application fees and fines for non-compliance with liquor laws occur immediately, while the increases to renewal fees take effect each year when payable by 31 December.
Information about application fees and annual renewal fees associated with liquor licences in Victoria may be downloaded in the Liquor licence fees fact sheet (PDF, 478KB). If you are advised of incorrect fee amounts by another agency, the VCGLR will not honour these amounts.
