Four new online forms released for gaming licences

Associated Individual applications for some gaming licences can now be submitted and completed via four new online forms.

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission  (VGCCC) have launched four new online forms for associated individual gaming applications:

Associated Individual applications must be approved by the VGCCC prior to the associated individual commencing with the gaming licence.

Associated individuals are any persons who have a relevant financial interest, exercises power or significant influence over the management or operation of a gambling business (including executive officers of the business).

The improved online application forms simplify the process for applying for approval of associated individuals by:

  • enabling the application to be completely lodged online
  • providing intuitive questions based on the applicant’s responses
  • enabling the application to be saved and returned to for up to 14 days.

During transition to the new forms, the current forms will remain available and accepted by the VGCCC. The online application forms should only be used when an individual is applying to be an associate of an existing licence holder and does not form part of another application.

The VGCCC is moving more forms online to improve efficiency for licensees and new applicants.
