Hearings and decisions

Our independent Commissioners make decisions on gambling matters, including determining applications for new gaming venues or more gaming machines, disciplinary actions and considering appeals of decisions made by VGCCC delegates.

Hearings and inquiries 

The Commission may conduct meetings and inquiries in public or private. Unless confidentiality considerations apply, we will generally hold public hearings.

Decisions 

We prepare and publish decisions and reasons on certain gaming applications and disciplinary action proceedings. 

It is standard practice to publish a copy of our decisions and reasons.

Appeals 

You may request the Commission reviews a VGCCC decision. Or you can appeal a Commission decisions through the courts on a question of law.
