Some small businesses are not required to have a liquor licence when supplying liquor. There are strict conditions regarding these exemptions.
Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (the Act), licensees are required to display certain signage (also referred to as posters or notices) around their licensed premises.

Late night trading venues such as nightclubs, pubs and bars across the state that would normally trade between 3am and midday are required to cease the supply of alcohol at 3am on ANZAC Day.
