We are currently reviewing a proposal to declare five existing Designated Area Orders for a ten-year period. These areas are:
Residents and stakeholders can now provide feedback on the proposal which would significantly reduce the regulatory burden associated with making Orders annually.
The VCGLR will accept written submissions until midnight on 19 June 2020.

The RIS explains the rationale for remaking the Orders for a ten-year term, identifies and evaluates alternatives, and compares the costs and benefits of those alternatives.
Feedback provided in the submissions is important to us and will assist in the final outcomes of the review.
