The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation has a Code of Conduct (Code) for party bus operations. It outlines the minimum standards of behaviour expected of party bus operators and patrons to minimise alcohol-related harm.
The Code includes the impact they have on community amenity and road safety. The Code also outlines the consequences of inappropriate behaviour.
You can choose to adopt your own Code that imposes additional rules or requirements on patrons, or to set out certain conditions regarding patron behaviour in the hirer's contract. If you choose to adopt your own Code, you are required to provide a copy when you Apply for a BYO permit (party buses).
