Daylight saving ends at 3am this Sunday (3 April 2016), which means clocks will be moved back to 2am.
Licensees who can trade beyond 3am will gain one hour of trade. Affected licensees must ensure they continue to responsibly serve alcohol and meet the conditions on their licence.
Gaming venues are reminded that they are required to have a four hour break after a continuous 20 hours of gaming in each 24-hour period. They should also check that time displays on gaming machines automatically go back an hour.
Venue operators should contact the IGS helpdesk on 1300 764 495 or email IGS via [email protected] for more information about machine time displays.
