Supplementary information and resources for licensees that wish to apply for a licence to serve liquor post 1am in the local government areas of Melbourne (including Docklands), Stonnington, Yarra and Port Phillip are now available.
The Victorian Government has extended the late night liquor licence "freeze" that exists in these areas, until 30 June 2019.
Generally, the VCGLR will not grant applications for new licences to trade past 1am in these areas unless certain conditions are met. In addition applicants are required to seek the prior support of the relevant local council in which they wish to serve liquor post 1am.
Applicants can now download the Late night liquor licence supplementary forms kit, (PDF, 1.85 MB) as well as more details about the application process and conditions that apply.
