A page describing how the VGCCC uses Twitter.

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission  (VGCCC) Twitter account is managed by the Strategic Communication team. Tweets cover:

  • alerts about new content on the VGCCC website such as latest news and recent Commission decisions
  • information about gambling and liquor licensing and regulation.

The @VicGCCC account does not automatically follow back users. Being followed by the VGCCC is not an endorsement of any kind.

The VGCCC updates and monitors the Twitter account during normal business hours, Monday to Friday. Twitter may occasionally be unavailable and the VGCCC is not responsible for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.

@Replies and Direct Messages

The VGCCC welcomes feedback and will endeavour to join the conversation where possible. In some instances we will not be able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via Twitter.

All @replies and direct messages will be read and any emerging themes or helpful suggestions are passed on to the relevant people within the VGCCC.

Complaints about licensed premises
