Spring Racing is in full swing and with plenty of events and celebrations set to take place throughout the state, licensees and venue staff are reminded to be extra vigilant when it comes to minors.
Inspectors from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) will be out in full force attending major events and venues in both metro and regional areas this Spring Racing season to ensure licensees and venue staff are complying with their licence conditions.
Licensees are encouraged to review and remind staff of their responsibilities when it comes to underage patrons. The VCGLR will not hesitate to act if venues are caught to be supplying liquor or allowing minors to place bets.
