Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training can now be delivered by approved Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) via interactive video chat or virtual classroom technology for the duration of the Victorian Declared State of Emergency (COVID-19).
This amendment to the approved delivery method aims to ensure the health and safety of staff and students, industry compliance and support for businesses impacted by the measures implemented by governments to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Course content, class sizes and assessment criteria have not been changed.
This is a temporary measure for the duration of the Declared State of Emergency only.
Approved RTOs must meet certain guidelines for virtual delivery if they choose to deliver RSA training via interactive video chat or virtual classroom technology, see: Guidelines for RSA training (PDF, 40.13 KB)
