Grand Final weekend starts this Friday with celebrations expected to continue throughout the weekend. Licensees are being reminded to not drop the ball when it comes to compliance at their venue.
This weekend is one of the biggest sporting celebrations of the year with thousands of AFL fans heading out to enjoy the festivities and watch the Grand Final at venues across Victoria.
Licensees should be prepared for larger than normal crowds and have plans in place to ensure the safety of their staff, patrons and the community.
VCGLR inspectors will be visiting venues over the weekend, including the Grand Final public holiday to ensure licensees and venue staff are adhering to their licence conditions.
