Producer licence holders across Victoria are set to be better prepared for the busy events season with the launch of a tailored checklist and videos outlining legal obligations and best practice measures to adopt at venues, promotional events and through online sales.
Education Manager, Veronica Goluza said the resources were created in consultation with producers and industry associations.

“The Education team regularly meet with licensees at forums and events to talk about liquor licensing laws and obligations specific to their licence types, including producers.
“The resources have been developed in response to feedback from producers and data that we collect on the most common breaches. We hope that the resources will assist producers to understand their legal obligations and reduce breaches for these licensees at what is a traditionally busy time with popular events such as farmers’ markets,” Veronica said.
If you’d like a member of the team to talk to you about your licence, please email them or contact us on 1300 182 457 and ask for the Education team.
