Compliance and education officers from the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) are heading for the snowfields over the next week.
The VCGLR will attend a Liquor Forum at Mt Hotham today (Wednesday), Falls Creek on Thursday and at Mt Buller and Mansfield next Tuesday.
The Liquor Forums will be an opportunity for the VCGLR to remind licensed venues about Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) ahead of what is expected to be a busy ski season.
The forums will also discuss how staff can be better aware of intoxicated patrons, Safe Functions guidelines and new signage introduced in 2018.
Liquor forums are held regularly throughout the state bringing together licensees and local stakeholders to discuss any local alcohol-related problems and best practice in venue management.
