VGCCC delivers education for golf club licensees

Members from the VGCCC's Education and Compliance teams attended the Golf Management Victoria event held on Tuesday 17 April 2018 at the Metropolitan Golf Club. 

With over 50 club presidents and managers in attendance, the VGCCC presented on a number of topics including:

  • points of sale
  • access to club rooms
  • functions
  • raffles
  • authorised areas to serve alcohol
  • preparing for an inspection

Questions were raised by attendees around raffles and electronic sign requirements as well as the topic of golf carts as point of sale.

Good Sports is also a great source of information for clubs. 

Licensees are reminded that it is the responsibility of the club to keep details up to date where a club name has changed, or changes have been made to its governance structure. Changes to your licence details can be made by the process outlined on the Vary my licence page.
