This New Year’s Eve our inspectors will be looking out for responsible service of alcohol, minors on premises and staff serving intoxicated patrons.
Our inspectors will be out and about this New Year’s Eve (NYE) to help Victorians and visitors celebrate safely.
Each year we work with Victorian liquor licensees who wish to extend their trading hours over NYE.

Any venue found to be in breach of liquor laws, or the conditions of their licence can face a range of penalties, including being issued with a fine and having their licence either suspended or cancelled.
By having a plan in place this NYE, venues and their staff can ensure that all Victorians and visitors are able to enjoy a safe and responsible environment into 2020.
