Renewable limited licence - club

A renewable limited licence - club authorises the supply of alcohol on the licensed premises to a member or guest of a member for consumption on the licensed premises, and may include additional approvals such as:

  • the ability for underage persons who are not accompanied by a responsible adult to be on the licensed premises at certain times or during certain activities
  • the ability to supply liquor from a point of sale during sporting events for drinking outside the licensed premises (e.g. from a canteen or marquee), provided approval is obtained.

Underage requirements and prohibitions

Clubs that wish to allow minors onto the premises (who are not accompanied by a parent, spouse or guardian) for the purpose of participating in sporting activities or presentations, should request an 'underage approval' when applying for a licence (follow the instructions in the application kit).

Trading hours

There are no set trading hours for a renewable limited licence - club. Applicants should specify the hours they desire on the application form.

Limitation of scale and scope

To qualify for this licence, the supply of liquor must be limited in scale and scope.

Application fee payable
