IMPORTANT NOTICE: A Declared State of Emergency is currently in place across Victoria. For more information, see: COVID-19 information for licensees
The AFL Grand Final will be held on Saturday 29 September with celebrations expected to go into the early hours of the morning.
VCGLR inspectors will be out and about during footy finals so make sure your venue remains compliant so everyone enjoys the season.
Hosting the finals for your local sporting team? Make sure you know your responsibilities so everyone plays the day right.
Major sporting codes often attract tipping competitions (e.g. AFL footy tipping) that allow entrants to pick the winning team/s in each week of a sporting season to earn points if successful.
The AFL Finals Series celebrations can be a busy time of year for Victorian venues. The VCGLR will be working closely with Victoria Police to ensure licensees are meeting their obligations and keeping compliant by inspecting venues across Melbourne leading up to and over the Grand Final long weekend.
