RSA online refresher course

Attention

Please note the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) refresher program is scheduled to have content updates at 5pm on Tuesday 22 July 2014.

The RSA refresher program will be unavailable from 5pm on Tuesday 22 July 2014 to 7am on Wednesday 23 July 2014.

If you have commenced a course and not yet completed your course prior to the scheduled change dates, you may need to repeat sections of the RSA refresher course (you will be prompted during the course if you need to repeat any section previously completed).

The Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation apologises for any inconvenience.

The Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Online refresher course has been updated to reflect changes made to the face-to-face RSA course earlier this year.

Amendments made to the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (the Act) now require all licensees and staff selling, offering or serving liquor for general, on-premises, packaged liquor and late night licences to complete the approved RSA online refresher course within three years of completing their last RSA program.

Note that licences outside of the above categories that have RSA training listed as a licence condition, also require licensees and staff to complete the above RSA online refresher course requirements.

The online refresher course is a quick, easy and convenient way to keep your skills up-to-date while also meeting any mandatory RSA requirements under the Act.

New features include the ability to login and print your refresher certificate at any time, from any computer, a video component to each module and the ability to complete modules at the users own pace.

Once completed, you will need to attach the online refresher certificate of completion to your original RSA certificate as evidence that you have refreshed your knowledge.

Please note that students are not able to re-print their original RSA certificate from the online refresher site.
