Gaming venue operator

Information about legislative changes that come into effect in 2017 and 2018 which mean a number of changes for gaming venue operators.  

Changes to the Gambling Regulation Regulations 2005, which took effect on 6 March 2012, mean that venue operators are able to display a new gaming machine related sign in their venues.

Information about application fees.

There are certain obligations required of a gaming venue operator.

Where a venue operator enters into an agreement to purchase a gaming venue from another venue operator, regulatory approval must be obtained from the VGCCC before settlement can take place.

Licence holders must complete a review of their code of conduct at least once a year. These guidelines have been produced to assist you with this task.
