Each licence application kit contains all the information and forms you need to submit your application. Follow the instructions in the pre-lodgement checklist before you lodge your application.

Applicants are advised to lodge liquor licence applications at least eight weeks in advance. The time taken to process an application will vary depending on a range of factors including the complexity of the application and any objections which may be raised.
To ensure your application is processed in a timely manner, it is important that you complete all required sections before you lodge your application.

The Local Government Authority must notify the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) of its intention to make a submission to address the economic and social impact that the proposed gaming machines or premises may have on the local area.
The authority must complete and submit the Economic and social impact submission to the VCGLR within 60 days of receiving notice of an application or amendment request from the venue operator.
