The annual VCGLR industry survey results are in! Find out how we did and what we are doing to improve.
The industry survey is conducted every year by the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR) to gain feedback on how we are doing in regulating Victoria’s gambling and liquor industries.
The 2017 survey results indicated that respondents were:
95 per cent satisfied that the VCGLR is regulating Victoria gambling and liquor industries to ensure their integrity and to minimise harm
93 per cent satisfied with the quality of information provided during a compliance inspection.
89 per cent satisfied with overall process when varying or changing their licence category or conditions.
Although not as high as last year’s results, the VCGLR will use the data collected from this survey to improve operational procedures and internal processes to better regulate the gambling and liquor industries.
The VCGLR is committed to improving our approach to all inspections, licensing processes, and delivery of our objectives with a wide program of work currently underway across the organisation to ensure our processes are as effective as possible and are in line with our legislative objectives
The survey was conducted with licensees from both gambling and liquor licensed venues across Victoria. Respondents are randomly selected, all responses are anonymous and treated confidentially.
